What if Allie never went back to Noah

I just read "the Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks today and was wondering what if Allie conveniently chose Lon Hammond over the love of he r life Noah.What happens in real life? Does  a rich girl like like Allie survive with an average  man like Noah? Is Love the solution to long term  happiness?Do we really see the world  from rosy coloured glasses when we read such novels?

For a romantic idiot like me who always reads Mills and Boons ,Nicholas Sparks and Stephanie Meyer,love is the theme of life.Everybody thinks of his /her life as some theme.Some believe its drama,some believe its comedy ,some tragedy and the rest unpractical people think it is a Romantic Comedy.

Well its all about your belief.Thinking if Allie would have gone back to her rich fiance leaving back all she had for her Noah,the Novel wouldn't have taken place.He would not have  watched her growing old and grey with him and every time she or suffered they wouldn't be together even in sufferings.He wouldnt have narrated his story to his children making them weep every time he told about the memory.Life has its own ups and downs but even those downs become easy when you have the special person with you.
Whatever it is..Some relations are meant to make you feel special..just meant to be there in your life.To teach you to grow ,to love and to feel special

Thank God Allie went back to Noah :-)..else we would never read such a heart touching story
