Rockstar: ...a tribute to life

Every song is a treat not just to ears but to your soul too. When I first heard the tracks I liked it,but what to say, each track makes you wonder if can music create this effect on you?
Let starts with Phir se udd chala..it is so passionate,so addictive and liberates your soul from the cages of your body.It gives wings to your dream. The way Mohit says “Mitti Jaise Sapne kitna bhi palkon se zaadon phir aa jaate hai” makes you realize that sometimes your dream control you
Katiya Karoon, very well sung by Harshdeep Kaur gives a rusty feel. The song signifies the grin of a young mischievous bubbly girl.Probably some girl who is in love and doesn’t know about it ,probably is  teasing her beloved with it
Kun Faya is a sufi music track, more like a divine prayer.Again excellent singing, wonderful music and takes you to a devotional mode.
Ok ,now another favorite..Hawa Hawa..a song which is very difficult to sing.I think one of the most difficult  due to the correct play of lyrics and music. The gypsy and east European tunes with Spanish guitar and middle eastern touch ,and finally Indian lyrics makes a perfect fusion.Your feet will start tapping to it from tango to flamenco and belly dancing to street dance, you will start moving as if in a trance. The lyrics give another feel.”Sone ki deewarein mujhi khushi na de paaye..de de azadi”..the girl wants to liberate from bonds of the society and follow her heart, meet her beloved .
Sheher mein hoo main tere..is a peppy track.I like the beats. The studio feel is fantastic and its unique."Chithi daali thi aaunga main tere ghar..mail bhi kiya tha maine teri id par " is very young and simple and yet appealing
Tumko Paahi liya “by Kavita Krishnamurthy shows sentiments of surrendering yourself to your beloved. It is like when you uncontrollably and unconditionally fall from someone and lose yourself
"Jo bhi main…kehna chahu..barbaad kare..alfaaz mere”So true .So many times we really hurt our loved ones by saying the wrong words and creating rift. The song is more like a crowd catcher..Fantastically sung by Mohit Chauhan..Novelistic and contemporary to the core.
Sadda Haq is a rock anthem.A concert feel.Very passionate again and very rebellious too.
Then comes ‘Naadan Parindey”..again lot of passion, pain, sorrow, grief, separation, pain but lot of heart in every string of guitar and every beat

Last but not the least”Tum Ho”…what a song..beautiful is an understatement. If you close your eyes and listen to it,you can just imagine yourself with your beloved. The song makes love to your soul.Lyrics leave you stupefied and music is softer than satin.Every word makes your senses go for toss and gives you goosebumps.I wonder if  anyone can make such music ever

Hats off to AR Rehman and Irshad Kamil..
