You must be completely awake in the present to enjoy the tea. Only in the awareness of the present, can your hands feel the pleasant warmth of the cup. If you are ruminating about the past, or worrying about the future, you will completely miss the experience of enjoying the cup of tea. You will look down at the cup, and the tea will be gone. Life is like that. If you are not fully present, you will look around and it will be gone. You will have missed the feel, the aroma, the delicacy and beauty of life. It will seem to be speeding past you. The past is finished. Learn from it and let it go. The future is not even here yet. Plan for it, but do not waste your time worrying about it. Worrying is worthless. When you stop ruminating about what has already happened, when you stop worrying about what might never happen, then you will be in the present moment. Then you will begin to experience joy in

It is 4am and I just cannot sleep... I just checked my fb page and saw release of my article in a magazine. Feels great to read your own work. Mean while my head is full of thoughts rather plots about a short story i have been writing. I almost see both the characters Raj and Priya talking to each other , saying things. I observe what they say , what they wear how they look..everything.. I grab my smartphone , open the blogger app and write some lines..it is crazy. Ideas are flowing.. it is 4:39.. I switch off the air conditioner..silence prevails..i hear the dawn breaking..birds chirping..i write for another half an hour. Raj and Priya are still talking..they have a happy ending..I stop writing and make them happily ever after.. It is daylight ..almost.. I better sleep now..got to go to office tomorrow..I go under my blanket and fall off asleep..

He was standing right there. Waiting for her..he looked as if he could wait for an eternity just to take her out.. One of the most romantic things a man does ever is waiting for a woman when he takes her out on a date..The mixed feelings of apprehension, excitement garnished with a bit of confusion and then the smile on his face and the twinkle in his eyes when he sees her is way beyond the mundane daily things. It is Summer Solstice today..one of the day when the sun almost never sets in the Northern hemisphere in some of the beautiful places in Europe The biggest irony of today is the ever so hot sunny city of Mumbai didnt see the sun today  due to crazy rainy weather and fully overcast sky.This is a welcome relief especially after the crazy solo dance performance of the Sun god this April May. Whatever the case may be..I am happy the ever hot Mumbai stayed cloudy and cool whereas the parts of Europe and America witnessed sunshine.. Sometimes happiness means different things for different people . It could be all day sun for some.. And rainy romantic weather for others ; especially when you are in different geographic biomes!!
