From Finance to Fulfillment: Manifesting My First Dream Office with Unicorn Insight

In the sweltering August of 2015, my career path took an unexpected turn as I found myself navigating through the promising corridors of three different investment banks. The interviews, one after the other, unfolded like chapters of a suspenseful novel, leaving me with a sense of anticipation and excitement. The pinnacle of this professional odyssey came during my interaction with a boutique investment bank. Four rigorous rounds of interviews later, I stood on the precipice of a new chapter in my career. The Managing Director, in a moment that felt like the turning point of my professional life, assured me that they were ready to roll out the offer within the next seven days. Their urgency was driven by the prospect of having me on board to contribute to an upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). The gravity of the situation resonated with me, and I felt the weight of responsibility mingled with the thrill of opportunity. Fueled by the excitement and confidence instilled by the M...

Are you Soaring high or Paying attention to the Crows in your Life

Image
Soaring Above: A Tale of the Eagle and the Crow In the vast expanse of the sky, two birds coexisted, each embodying a distinct spirit and purpose. The regal eagle, with its majestic wingspan, symbolized strength, vision, and leadership. In contrast, the cunning crow, known for its persistence and cunning, sought to challenge the eagle's dominance. As the eagle soared effortlessly through the open skies, its keen eyes scanned the world below. It was a symbol of greatness and leadership, embodying the pursuit of lofty goals and the relentless pursuit of excellence. However, the eagle's journey was not without its challenges, for it was pursued by a persistent and critical crow. The crow, in its relentless pursuit, sought to peck at the eagle, aiming to diminish its spirit and question its capabilities. The eagle, wise and experienced, understood the nature of the crow. Instead of engaging in a futile battle, the eagle chose a different path – a path that would ultimately define t...

Sunrise and my Experiences in enhancing Overall Wellbeing

Image
As I set out for my morning run, the sky was veiled in darkness and obscured by thick clouds. The air was crisp, and my surroundings seemed to echo the stillness of the pre-dawn hour. However, as I continued my jog, a breathtaking transformation unfolded. The clouds, initially heavy and somber, began to yield to the gentle insistence of the sun's rays. A warm glow painted the horizon, gradually giving birth to hues of pink, orange, and gold. In that moment of revelation, tears welled up in my eyes. The celestial masterpiece before me was a symphony of colors, and the rising sun emerged as the conductor of this natural orchestra. Overwhelmed with gratitude, my hands instinctively joined in Namaste, a silent expression of reverence for the life-giving force that is the sun with tears rolling down my cheeks in gratitude. In that quiet communion with nature, I found solace, renewal, and an affirmation of the beauty that unfolds with each sunrise. The Sun is the symbolism of Life Joy ...

Bouncing Back with a Cricket Fan's Guide to Healing Post-World Cup Blues! 😢🏏- Kudos to Men in Blue

Image
I am myself writing this from a space of being absolutely heartbroken. As a True Blue Indian Cricket fan - I was shattered. And if you are an Indian Cricket fan reading this probably you are too. Isnt it? How are we all? Hurt? Disappointed? As the girl from Mumbai who has sp ent all her life celebrating cricket wins at the iconic Shivaji Park ground with fireworks and shouting "India India" wearing blue t shirts- My heart absolutely broke after the loss at the World Cup final in 2023. I was far away from home with that piece of hurt in my heart seeing the collapse of the beautiful batting order of team India after such a fantastic record breaking performance through out the series. Our Men in Blue fought really well and gave their best to this Tournament. And Yes-they did deserve a final win. But what happens when some events do not turn out the way we want them to and especially when we deserve victory. Have you had those times in life when you knew you would...
