He was standing right there. Waiting for her..he looked as if he could wait for an eternity just to take her out.. One of the most romantic things a man does ever is waiting for a woman when he takes her out on a date..The mixed feelings of apprehension, excitement garnished with a bit of confusion and then the smile on his face and the twinkle in his eyes when he sees her is way beyond the mundane daily things. It is Summer Solstice today..one of the day when the sun almost never sets in the Northern hemisphere in some of the beautiful places in Europe The biggest irony of today is the ever so hot sunny city of Mumbai didnt see the sun today  due to crazy rainy weather and fully overcast sky.This is a welcome relief especially after the crazy solo dance performance of the Sun god this April May. Whatever the case may be..I am happy the ever hot Mumbai stayed cloudy and cool whereas the parts of Europe and America witnessed sunshine.. Sometimes happiness means different things for different people . It could be all day sun for some.. And rainy romantic weather for others ; especially when you are in different geographic biomes!! She had never been so affected by the idea of intimacy, but there was something about his eyes; something warm, and gentle even though she felt transparent every time he turned his attention on her; like he could see her, really see her. The idea of being so exposed to someone…it took her breath away.

When it comes to love , you got to be brave. Even the bravest falter when it comes to love. Tell them what they mean to you..a small gesture..a small talk a small smile and a small touch saying " I am there for you" " you mean the world to me" " I ll never leave you" or a simple kiss or a small hug or a hand on shoulder is enough You got to start somewhere.. Remember all love stories were one sided in the beginning..but someone took the first step and said I love you..be the one if you really love..be brave..really brave

10 things DDD taught you 1) Follow your passion ..whether it is dancing, flying, journalism or setting up your own startup.You ll struggle a lot initially but will get there 2) Tell the truth to your parents ; it is better than lying to them. You have to tell them you have your own opinions and you got to be frank with them. They love you unconditionally although they may do drama at times. After all they are your real "life boat" 3) Take your siblings into confidence ; they are your real support pillar. They may eat your ice cream but no one will understand you like them. Support them, love them and be there for them. They are your true best friends 4) Have faith and patience with your love life rather than jumping into a"practical" marriage of convenience.  At the same time dont make your girlfriend/boyfriend wait for too long. They may not wait that long and both of you may land up being miserable for years 5) Listen to your heart,and use your head to get there.
